The interior experience of NYC Health Lab starts with a public-facing testing center and private-facing workplace for employees. Taking cues from the local community and its vibrant palette, the testing center waiting room becomes an intimate, elevated embrace for incoming patients. In order to support a healthy and lively workplace, the tower amenities design prioritizes open spaces and views outside but follow in intimacy with hand-drawn microbes and biophilic analogues inspired by health lab scientists.
